Noosa Beach Weddings – Flowers for your Noosa wedding

Flowers have been linked with  romance and fertility since time immemorial.  They lend grace and elegance to any setting but they’re especially central to weddings.

Once the Bride has chosen her wedding dress, she ‘s then in a position to plan lots of the other fun things about her wedding because she now knows her theme colours. One of the decisions to be made  is what flowers to have for the bouquets and for the decoration at the ceremony and probably also at the reception.

At the newsagent’s, you’ll find a range of wedding flower magazines to help with your flower planning.   Often the Bride has a favourite flower variety.   Probably the most usual favourites are Lilies and Roses but many brides have their hearts set on Frangipani, Calla Lilies or Tulips which are only available in season and then some weeks only in a limited range of colours.  If there’s a flower which has such major significance for you that you absolutely cannot be married without it in your bouquet, then you need to schedule your wedding around its availability because flowers are a natural product which are just not available to the floral designer out of season unless the Bride is prepared to accept the silk version.   As a wedding planner, I often advise brides to specify a colour scheme and a preferred flower variety but to be willing to trust the floral designer to substitute in the event that that flower in that colour is simply not available the week of the wedding.

After the theme colours and the preferred flower variety/ies, you need to decide which bouquet style you prefer.  Most brides choose the posy style bouquet but sometimes girls will have posy style bouquets for their bridesmaids and the trail bouquet style for themselves.   Noosa Wedding Ring floral designer Chris Evans of the Ultimate Florist is very creative in the modern approach she takes to producing wedding bouquets which are truly a thing of beauty.
Some girls decide, after the wedding, to have all or part of their bouquets preserved .  But the flowers need to be stored in optimum conditions  straight after the wedding and handed over to the experts the next day for this to be worth the not inconsiderable costs involved.  Check with a professional  if this option appeals to you.

Noosa Beach Weddings – Tamara and Gareth’s Noosa wedding

As Tamara and Gareth wanted a small, carefree Noosa beach wedding, they chose Noosa Wedding Ring‘s Intimate Noosa Wedding Package with our ABIA award winning Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum to co-ordinate their day.

Afterwards, the newlyweds said, ‘We both just wanted to say how amazing everything was.  We absolutely loved the day.  From the hair and makeup, the limo, the location, the celebrant, the saxophone, the flowers, all the way down to thinking of towels to get the sand off our feet!!!

We were amazed that it only took Ronnie one day to get the photos back to us and how awesome they were.  Everything was exactly what we were after, very carefree!  Loved the video too, gave us the chance to show everyone at the party when we got home our Wedding Day.

You do such a wonderful job, everyone had a fabulous time and it was definitely a day we will never forget, it was perfect.  Thank you so much, Glenda”.

Noosa Weddings – Carole and Jason’s Noosa beach wedding

Carole and Jason eloped to Noosa for a wedding that both they and the Noosa Wedding Ring team thoroughly enjoyed.  After they arrived in Noosa, the couple relaxed with a massage from Dagmar of Be Vital Massage.

On their wedding day, Carole had lots of fun with Debb of  Beauty on the Move and she and Jason enjoyed the limousine provided by Noosa VIP Limousines.

At the wedding ceremony in the Casuarina Grove, Celebrant Hari Scholes CMC officiated and photographer Andrej of Artisan Photography and videographer Wayne of  Noosa Video Productions enjoyed recording the couple’s happiness and Carole’s stunning dress plus beautiful Oriental Lily posy created by Chris of the Ultimate Florist.

ABIA award winning Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum reported that this was another very happy Noosa Wedding Ring wedding.  Our congratulations to Carole and Jason!

Noosa Beach Weddings – Migratory birds

Noosa Wedding Ring advises that our  Sand Between Your Toes Noosa Wedding Package (www.noosaweddingring.com/sand-between-your-toes-noosa-wedding-packages/) is now only available in May, June, July, August, November and December.

At other times, there are large numbers of migratory birds landing on both  Sandy Island and Noosa’s North Shore so Council has banned all public access to the Noosa estuary then.  In  September, October, January, February, March or April,  our ABIA award winning Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum suggests you might like to choose instead our Beach and Noosa River Wedding Package with Cruise (www.noosaweddingring.com/beach-and-noosa-river-wedding-package-with-cruise/) and add to this a gondola ride for the bridal party to take you from your beach photoshoot to your waterfront reception.
