Noosa Beach Weddings – Booking your Noosa Wedding Accommodation

Noosa Wedding Ring recommends that, in scheduling your Noosa beach wedding date, you check not only the availability of the ceremony venue, reception venue and Wedding Professionals of your choice but also the Noosa Events Calendar below.

Calendar of Events 2010

Noosa Festival of Surfing: 14 – 21 March, 2010

Noosa May Fiesta: 1 – 31 May, 2010

Noosa Riverfest Regatta: TBA 2010

Noosa Blue Water Swim: Sun 16 May 2010

Noosa Long Weekend: Fri 18 – Sun 27 June, 2010

Noosa Half Marathon: Sun 23 May, 2010

Noosa Jazz Festival: Thu 2 Sept – Sun 5 Sept, 2010

Noosa Triathlon: Wed 27 Oct – Sun 31 Oct, 2010

Because Noosa is such an attractive place, at peak tourist times such as Easter and Christmas, accommodation can be not only booked out but also twice as expensive.  And, as you can see above, there are festivals and events through the year which also bring lots of extra visitors to town.

So it’s best to carefully choose your wedding date and then reserve your Noosa accommodation as soon as you’ve booked your wedding ceremony and reception venue if you have definite ideas about where you want to spend your honeymoon.    You’ll find our Noosa Wedding Ring Accommodation Directory at www.noosaweddingring.com/noosa-accommodation-directory/ helpful as it divides up Accommodation Houses by geographic location in a very user friendly way.

And it’s also worth passing that URL onto your guests when you send out the wedding invitations so they can make their own accommodation bookings early too.

Noosa Beach Weddings – Corinne and Mat’s Noosa wedding

Noosa Wedding Ring clients Corinne and Mat chose a ceremony venue overlooking Noosa Main Beach and ABIA award winning Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum to plan their Intimate Noosa Beach Wedding with Celebrant Hari Scholes CMC officiating.
Corinne and Mat’s wedding was a very happy event with both families well represented and obviously enjoying their visit to Noosa.
The bride and groom looked beautifully relaxed after their massages with Dagmar of Be Vital Massage. Andrej of Artisan Photography clearly enjoyed himself taking the photos  as did Sam of Wild Bunch Weddings who manned the video camera.  Noosa VIP Limousines delivered the girls to the ceremony in a style befitting the glamour of the occasion which was  reflected by the stylish decorations Uniquely You Noosa had installed ready for the arrival of the guests and the bridal party.
Corinne and Mat’s was another very happy  Noosa Wedding Ring beach wedding  followed by a Noosa Main Beach photoshoot.

Noosa Beach Weddings – Decoration for your Noosa wedding

Noosa is a stunningly beautiful place and one of the advantages of choosing to marry here is that you don’t need to spend a mozza to decorate what is already a beautiful environment.

Noosa Wedding Ring decorators Uniquely You Noosa say that in Noosa it’s important to complement the natural environment rather than trying to overpower it.  All most Noosa brides want for their outdoor ceremony venue is just a table and chairs for signing the wedding documents, chairs for their guests and an aisleway along which the bride makes her appearance plus a few Balinese flags or similar between the bridal party and the beach.  Usually the wedding theme colours are reflected in the sashes around the chair covers as well as in the flowers along the aisleway.

At your Noosa wedding reception, the decoration usually carries through your wedding theme (eg beach, shells), your wedding colours or your choice of wedding flowers in the decoration of the chairs, the tables and the wedding cake.

A simple yet attractive alternative to the usual placecards are the themed (eg Photo of Noosa Main Beach if that’s where you were married or a photo of your wedding bouquet or wedding cake etc) wrapped chocolate bars bearing the individual names of your guests.  These can be designed and produced to your specifications by Uniquely You Noosa.

Noosa Beach Weddings – Ceremony venues for your Noosa wedding

For your Noosa beach wedding, you have quite a few options with respect to  ceremony venue.

In capital cities, the majority of weddings still take place in a church setting and this option is also available to you in Noosa.  The Noosa Wedding Ring website details your major options with regard to a church ceremony here.

But Noosa is a stunningly beautiful place to make your vows to each other  and perhaps this is why the majority of Noosa weddings take place outdoors. To hold a ceremony in a public place you need a Wedding Permit from Council and you can see Council’s map of offerings here.

Council’s list of available areas includes Casuarina Garden, Doggy Beach, First Point, Laguna Grove, Little Cove, Maison la Plage, Noosa Woods Park, Sandcastles Grove, Seahaven Grove and River Entrance Beach.  Some of Council’s photos and information are not up to date though and, for that reason, I’d exclude Doggy Beach and First Point if I were you.  And you need to take into account that, while Little Cove Beach is very attractive, the ceremony timing depends on the tides and access is difficult for both vehicles and many guests.

Another possibility is to make your vows on private property and you might like to check out Culgoa Point Beach Resort in this regard.

Noosa’s weather is idyllic but just the same it does rain here sometimes so if you plan to marry outdoors, you need to choose both a ceremony venue and a backup wet weather venue.  If you plan to engage a Wedding Planner on the other hand, you can leave your wet weather plan in her capable and experienced hands.

Happy wedding planning!
