Trish and Stuart’s little attendants almost stole the show as part of the bridal party at their wedding. Noosa Wedding Ring’s Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum had helped Stuart and Trish plan a Beach/River Noosa Wedding Package with Cruise.
Trish carried a beautiful bouquet of white Orientals and blue Hydrangea and the couple made their vows to each other in Laguna Grove overlooking Noosa Main Beach. After Trish and Stuart’s beach photoshoot, the newlyweds and their guests cruised the beautiful Noosa River to their waterfront reception venue.
After their Noosa wedding, Nicki and Matt said to Noosa Wedding Ring Wedding Planner Glenda McCallum ‘Thank you so very much for making our wedding day so perfect, everything went without a hitch despite the terrible weather!
Everything looked absolutely amazing, the flowers, decorations and setup at the ceremony and reception all looked better than we could ever have imagined. You were always there making sure everything was going smoothly and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. It made us feel very calm just knowing you were there.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. Best wishes for the future’.
Flowers have been linked with romance and fertility since time immemorial. They lend grace and elegance to any setting but they’re especially central to weddings.
Once the Bride has chosen her wedding dress, she ‘s then in a position to plan lots of the other fun things about her wedding because she now knows her theme colours. One of the decisions to be made is what flowers to have for the bouquets and for the decoration at the ceremony and probably also at the reception.
At the newsagent’s, you’ll find a range of wedding flower magazines to help with your flower planning. Often the Bride has a favourite flower variety. Probably the most usual favourites are Lilies and Roses but many brides have their hearts set on Frangipani, Calla Lilies or Tulips which are only available in season and then some weeks only in a limited range of colours. If there’s a flower which has such major significance for you that you absolutely cannot be married without it in your bouquet, then you need to schedule your wedding around its availability because flowers are a natural product which are just not available to the floral designer out of season unless the Bride is prepared to accept the silk version. As a wedding planner, I often advise brides to specify a colour scheme and a preferred flower variety but to be willing to trust the floral designer to substitute in the event that that flower in that colour is simply not available the week of the wedding.
After the theme colours and the preferred flower variety/ies, you need to decide which bouquet style you prefer. Most brides choose the posy style bouquet but sometimes girls will have posy style bouquets for their bridesmaids and the trail bouquet style for themselves. Noosa Wedding Ring floral designer Chris Evans of the Ultimate Florist is very creative in the modern approach she takes to producing wedding bouquets which are truly a thing of beauty.
Some girls decide, after the wedding, to have all or part of their bouquets preserved . But the flowers need to be stored in optimum conditions straight after the wedding and handed over to the experts the next day for this to be worth the not inconsiderable costs involved. Check with a professional if this option appeals to you.
