At Trio's On The River, the entire Restaurant drinks in views of the beautiful Noosa River - the venue offers a diverse range of food and wine choices for your Noosa wedding reception.
Trio's has a function room which overlooks the Noosa river. It seats up to 80 guests with a minimum of 25 guests in complete privacy behind rosewood folding partitions. (There is no hire fee for use of this fully air-conditioned space). If your guest list is smaller, we can make a smaller area private for you. For a large wedding reception, the entire Restaurant is available for the private use of up to 180 guests and a minimum of 100.
The per head MENU prices for your Noosa wedding celebration at Trio's On The River depend on:
- Whether you choose Sit Down or Cocktail style;
- The day of the week (Weekdays are less expensive and, for 60 or more guests on a Sunday evening, private use of the entire Trios Restaurant is available at just $65 per head plus beverages)
Once the helpful staff at Trio's has helped you determine your food style, we print customised Menus detailing the 3 Entrees, 3 Mains and 3 Desserts you've selected for your adult guests to choose from plus the Kid's Menu.
Regarding BEVERAGES, you are invited to run a tab for your guests or alternatively we can offer you per head Beverage Packages.
In the event of bad weather, you are welcome to relocate your Noosa Wedding Ceremony to Trio's Restaurant with the Noosa River as your backdrop.
With DECORATION, we provide white linen table cloths and serviettes with Trio's lamps on the tables. You are welcome to hire a Decorator or alternatively Trio's will set up your flowers and nametags for you if you drop them off to us in advance.
There are a number of different choices available to cater for your wedding:
- Traditional entrée, main and dessert with 3 or 4 choices of each course. No alternate drop.
- Make your own menu from our selection.
- Informal gathering upon arrival, with drinks and assorted hors d'oeuvres for about an hour (which substitutes for the entrée), followed by choices of main and dessert.
- At lunch, shared light entrée followed by choices of mains and dessert.
- Trio's famous Seafood Platters as shared entrée at each table.

Main Course

- Fresh Fish of the Day served on sweet potato mash, steamed asparagus and a lime beurre blanc
- Gippsland Eye Fillet on garlic chive rosti with roasted field mushrooms and a creamy Dijon mustard jus
- Rosemary Crusted Lamb Rump with roasted chats, sugar snap peas, baked parsnip and mint jus
- Veal Scallopini, pan-fried on soft polenta with sautéed mushrooms, shallots, creamy pink peppercorn jus and parmesan chips
- Crispy Free Range Duckling slow cooked on a Mediterranean vegetable tarte with an orange plum glaze port wine jus
- Salt-crusted Crispy Skin Fresh Atlantic Salmon cooked medium rare on a sweet potato and leek stack with blanched broccolini and salsa verde
- Chicken Breast wrapped in prosciutto on mash with lemon thyme beurre monte
Dessert:
"Your" Wedding Cake or "Ours" (made by our chef) can feature on your menu, with a choice of other desserts if you like.

Beverages
We have an extensive wine list and can order specially requested wines. Beers from $6.00, house wines and champagne from $22.50 per bottle. Beverage Packages from $35 per head.
